Quick update for paddleboarders heading to Alki Beach this weekend.
Water conditions are looking ideal with calm morning winds expected Saturday and Sunday before 10 AM. Water temperature has climbed to 58°F, comfortable for most paddlers with a wetsuit.
Parking fills up fast on sunny weekends. Arrive before 8 AM for beach parking or use the side streets on 63rd Ave SW.
The best launch spot remains the sandy beach near the bathhouse. Watch for swimmers closer to the pier area during peak hours.
