New SUP Rental Shop Opens in Ballard

Paddleboard enthusiasts have a new option in Ballard.

Northwest Paddle Sports opened last week at 5420 Ballard Ave NW, offering hourly and daily SUP rentals along with guided tours of the Ship Canal and Salmon Bay.

Opening special: twenty dollars off your first rental through the end of the month. They stock all-around boards from Tower and Red Paddle Co, plus touring boards for more experienced paddlers.

Hours are 8 AM to 6 PM daily. The shop includes a small retail section with paddles, PFDs, and dry bags.
